4th Match of the Johnson & Smith Saturday League, once again saw plenty of fish caught in conditions which were Sea State ''Rough'' to say the least!
Top man on the day was Dave Ashmoor (Grimsby) off peg 1 at the bridge with a cracking 22lb6oz of perch, roach and a good skimmer to groundbait, pinkie, chopped worm and caster.
In second place was the inform Malc Firmstone off peg 6 at the bridge, with another cracking weight of 16lb 12oz, again perch and roach to groundbait, pinkie, chopped worm and caster.
Alan Houlton (Lincs Match Squad) pulled into third place off peg 5 on the roadside with 10lb 15oz.
After four rounds Malc Firmstone and Alan Houlton are joint top with 26 points, Graham Bunnage and Chris Elsom in joint second with 21 points and John Barningham in third with 20 points.
