Over the Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend (3-5 June) LDAA will be exhibiting at the Burghley Game & Country Fair for what is predicted to be a fantastic weekend for all the family.
You’ll be able to meet some of our committee members in the Angling Village, who will be on hand to discuss the great things the Association is doing behind the scenes for our members while offering willing participants fishing lessons on the infamous Burghley Lake.
We will also be joined by the Salmon & Trout Conservation U.K. who will be alongside the Angling Trust to provide anglers and people interested in the sport with some great information about fly fishing, fishing techniques and conservation.
However, that is not all from the fishing side of things, experts will be on hand to offer adept tuition and demonstrations in the art of fly casting and tying. If fly fishing is something that you want to start but don’t know where, then this is an event not to be missed.
Alongside all the fishing activities within the Angling Village, there is plenty of other things to do for an amazing family day out.
Arena entertainment will be available to enjoy which will consist of:

● Scurry Driving
● The Stannage Stunt Team
● Security Dog Display
● Plus much more

Live music will also be available throughout the event with numerous artists and bands exhibiting their talents. Mouth-watering food outlets and Real Ale & Cider stalls will also be present.
