LINCOLN AND DISTRICT AA / WHISBY ANGLING SUPPLIES SATURDAY LEAGUE
Round two of the Lincoln and District AA / Whisby Angling Supplies Saturday League, fished on the Roadside and Bridge stretches of the Canal and as in previous matches bites in some sections was hard to come by.
On the day it was Boston angler Alistair Ogilvie who took first place off peg 5 at the Bridge with a cracking 11lb 11oz, Alistair fished chopped worm and caster down the tins for three good perch and groundbait and pinkie for roach at 6 metres.
Runner up was the consistent John Small (Lincoln Legend) off peg 1 at the Bridge with a mixed bag of roach and perch for 9lb 4oz. Third place with 6lb 1oz off peg 5 on the Roadside was 15 year old Tyler Thompson and Dave Hiley finishing in fourth place with 5lb 12oz at Bridge peg 3.
After two rounds, the League looks like this; Rob Thorley and Shane Spraggins lead with13 points each with Dave Hiley on 12 points.
