This was the second match in the six match series, as in the first match the canal was carrying a lot of colour. On the day it was Rob Thorley who won off peg 5 on the roadside with a mainly roach net of 9lb 8oz to groundbait and pinkie at 6 and 11 metres. Steve Wilford took second place off peg 5 on the bridge stretch with 9lb 1oz, again mainly roach to groundbait and pinkie. Steve boosted is weight with a tench of 4lb. John Small took third place off peg 9 on the roadside with 7lb 6oz.
