In the third round of the Whisby Angling Supplies held 7th Nov, it turned out to be the Bridge section that dominated the 3 section match.
The consistent John Barningham (Lincoln) took the top honours off peg 5 at the Bridge with a mixed bag of roach, skimmers and perch to groundbait and pinkie at 5 metres for a weight of 9lb 12oz. In second place was Shane Spraggins off peg 2, again at the Bridge, with a mainly roach net to bread punch at 5 metres with young Tyler Thompson in third place showing dad how it’s done with a straight 7lb off peg 1, again at the Bridge.
League placing after 3 rounds; 1st Dale Whelan and John Barningham both on 20 points, Dave Hiley on 17 points and Malc Firmstone on 16 points.
