The LDAA is pleased to announce the exciting news of a 48-Hour St Barnabas Hospice Barbel Charity Match that will take place on the River Trent at our North Clifton stretch.

The event is being run by LDAA's Mick Burley who is a true Barbel specimen angler and his passion for the St Barnabas Hospice go hand-in-hand for the introduction of this one-off match.

It'll cost £30 to enter and will take place between 11-13 August 2023.

More details to follow in due course on prizes, rules and further information.

However, Barbel will be weighed once caught and returned after a rest period with official LDAA witnesses in attendance for the weigh-in.

This special event is for everybody no matter of their angling ability, we are seeing it as more of a social than a match but raising money for a great cause. All ages are encouraged to participate, with the exception of under 16s who must be supervised by an adult during their stay at North Clifton.

To register, you can pay your £30 on the Go Fund Me page link below and then send a screenshot personally to Mick Burley or info@lincolnangling.org to book your place.
