This Saturday saw round three of The Johnson and Smith Winter League 2024, which was fished on  Lincoln and District Angling Association's Fossdyke Navigations at Saxilby.

On the day the match was fished in near perfect conditions but after Friday night's frost, the canal fished below par. It was Paul Cannon (Goole) who made the best of his peg 2 draw at the Bridge, Paul fished groundbait and pinkie at 8 metres to finish with 9lb 20oz of mainly roach. Runner up was Lincoln's Ryan Neal off peg 4 at the the Bridge with 7lb 91/2oz, Ryan fished groundbait and pinkie at 13 metres for roach and had a fine perch of 3lb to lobby down the tins with the Paul Johnson finishing in third spot with a very close 7lb 9oz of roach to groundbait and maggot fished at 8 and 11 metres. Section winners were Bridge Section A Graham Green 7lb 7oz and Roadside Section B Dave Ashmoor 6lb. Roadside Section C Rob Thorley and Neal Fletcher both 3lb 10 1/2oz.

League after 3 round's is John Small and Paul Cannon both 19 points from Dave Ashmoor with 18 points and Rob Thorley with 17 point's.
