Following on from our recent announcement of the Let’s Fish events taking place on the Fossdyke Canal. The LDAA Executive Committee is pleased to further announce a fantastic and exciting opportunity for the next generation of anglers from Lincolnshire.
The Fossdyke Canal will once again play host, on this occasion to a Junior National Jubilee Qualification Match in partnership with the Canal & River Trust. The winners will gain the right to compete at the National Celebration of Young People and Fishing event which will take place over the weekend 17/18 September 2022.
The event will be available for young people between the ages of 7-20, with the following age groups to compete:
Cadets: 7-10
Juniors: 11-15
Youth: 16-20 (On the day)

Sunday 18 September 2022 (Juniors)
Fishing will take place during the following times:
Cadets: 1200 - 1500hrs
Juniors: 1200 - 1600hrs
Youth: 1100 - 1600hrs
Prize presentation from 1700hrs.

A £5.00 entry fee will be refunded with a £10 Leigh Tackle & Bait voucher at the prize presentation.
All participants that attend will receive some exclusive prizes including an event certificate, tackle, medal/trophy plus a special limited edition Fujuka Gudgeon mug by landing this species.
