This was round four of the Whisby Angling Supplies Saturday Winter League and with the resent rain and milder conditions the Canal fished very competitively for the 16 anglers taking part.
Winner on the day was Dave Hiley off peg 7 on the Roadside with 11lb 14oz.
Dave had 3 good perch to worm down the tins and roach to groundbait and pinkie at 6 and 11 metres.
Runner up was John Small off peg 9 again on the Roadside with 9lb 11oz of perch to worm and roach to caster with John Barningham taking third place with 7lb 14oz off peg 8 again on the Roadside.
League after four rounds is Rob Thorley and Dale Whelan on 25 points with Dave Hiley and Shane Spraggins on 22 points with John Small on 21 points.
