In November 2022, the LDAA published a statement regarding the Lincolnshire Junior Angling Academy (LJAA). The LDAA committee would like to publicly apologise personally to both Kev Martin, Kev Hutchinson, and their team of dedicated volunteers who are making angling, the sport that we all truly love, more accessible to juniors within our catchment area. The statement that was previously published was unjustified and wasn’t factual. The LDAA respects the ongoing commitment from LJAA to their juniors.

The development of juniors within angling is imperative to the future of our sport. Under the tutelage of LJAA coaches, members have grown in their angling abilities and this can be demonstrated amongst the numerous graduates from their coaching.

From classroom lessons to teaching knowledge within watercraft, tactics, fish feeding behaviours, and so forth to more hands-on teaching on canals, rivers, and commercials, alongside away day trips to some famous venues, the juniors who attend LJAA have access to state-of-the-art coaching.

If you know of any juniors who’d like to take up angling, then please get in touch with LJAA who will be more than happy to support you.
