This was the third match in the series and due to postponements, doubled up as the Fossdyke Championship/Frank Butler Memorial. The canal was in good order and over all fished well.
Top man on the day was Chris Greensides (Sheffield) off bridge peg 5 with 12lb of mainly roach to groundbait and pinkie at 6 and 11 metres. In second place and not far behind was the consistent Dale Whelan (Lincoln) off bridge peg 6 with 11lb 6oz of mainly roach again to groundbait and pinkie with John Barningham (Lincoln) taking third place with 10lb 12oz.
League after 3 rounds is John Small 18 points, Nathan Watson 17 points and Dale Whelan 16 points.
