Sunday 27 August, saw the second installment of the 2023 LDAA Members Only Match series. The chosen venue for this match was Drinsey Nook on the historic Fossdyke Canal and proved a difficult day angling for most anglers.
Further to Will Bond’s introduction at the previous Members Only Match, further Lincolnshire Junior Angling Academy young anglers in Luna Andrews and Iris Drury made their debuts, we are delighted to see more and more junior anglers participating.
Again, participating anglers met at Sunny’s Ice Cream Parlour in Saxilby village for the match draw and a tasty breakfast supplied by Steph at the venue.
With an array of weather encountered, along with boat disturbance the two end pegs fished by Matt Gregory and Marcus Langmaid proved to provide the results to finish first and second respectively.
