With the coarse fishing close season upon us, we anticipate that our stillwater venues will become busy again.
Please bear in mind that if fishing at Dunholme Pond, the farmer in the field next door has installed deterrent measures such as crow/bird scarers in an attempt to protect his fields.
These typically start around 9 am in the morning and can go off at random times but usually in periods of every 45 - 60 minutes.
They do sound like gunshots so please do not be alarmed.
