The LDAA have been working in liaison with the Environment Agency and the Park Rangers at Hartsholme Park during the recent Blue Green Algae bloom that has arisen at Blue Lagoon and Hartsholme Park.

On the back of the LDAA Barbel Match that was held in August 2023, we were kindly invited over to St Barnabas Hospice for a cheque presentation.

The LDAA is pleased to announce that in the near future, we will be switching from membership cards to an app-based platform called Clubmate. 

Over the weekend of 11-13 August 2023, the LDAA put on a special match to raise funds for St Barnabas Hospice which was held at our North Clifton stretch of the River Trent with Barbel being the target species.
